The Conservatives win 11 seats
The Conservatives won 11 seats in Wales, gaining three in their best result in Wales since 1983 due to Labour losing an 'enormous' amount of votes to the party. Labour took nine additional seats in Wales as part of the party's UK landslide. It means the party holds 27 of Wales' 32 seats in Westminster.The Liberal Democrats lost all three of their seats in Wales, while Plaid Cymru held onto its three seats.
The turnout was 64.8%, up from 63.8% in 2010.
